My ultimate vacation destination is Maui, coming home with a henna tattoo (or two).
I love flowers, like a lot. I have often thought of becoming a florist or a wedding planner so I could be surrounded by beauty and celebration. Instead of making a career move, I value making any space I spend time in whether it be my home or my yard a place of beauty and peace.
I have two beautiful girls, they keep me on my toes and most of all keep me smiling as I watch them grow and interact with themselves and the world around them. Life is such a gift.
As a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, I believe in the power of walking towards pain, embracing our vulnerabilities and weaknesses to experience victorious resolve, closure, and newfound resilience. The journey inward might be one of the most painful journeys requiring much courage and strength, and this is why we were never meant to go it alone.
In specific trauma work I utilize my training in Trauma Regulation and Integration Process (TRIP). This method combines a variety of therapeutic approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), One Eye Integration Observation and Experiential Integration (OEI), Somatic Experience, Sensorimotor and Internal Family Systems and Attachment work.
